Air Fryer E2 Error Code: Why and How To Fix It

The second part of our troubleshooting guide will focus on the E2 error code that some air fryers display when they have run into problems.

As with many other electronics, air fryers are programmed to display different codes or flashing lights when they try to inform the user of something. What the appliance is trying to say is hard to tell without knowing which model and brand we’re talking about.

Therefore, I have done some research on the topic and contacted a bunch of different companies that manufacture air fryers to provide some clarity to others who find their air fryer flashing or displaying strange codes.

Let’s get going, shall we?

Why does my air fryer display the E2 error code? The E2 code is displayed when your air fryer is undergoing a system malfunction of sorts. Continue reading to find out what your brand’s error code means.

To make it easier to identify the problem and with it, the solution – I’ve gathered a list of different brands and what their error codes mean.

Get in contact with the manufacturer as soon as possible to ensure that your new unit is covered by the warranty before it runs out. If it hasn’t already.

Internal errors can be fixed at repair shops, however, I suggest you get in contact with customer support and ask them to send replacement parts or a even better, an entirely new unit.

If your air fryer doesn’t start at all you can consider these two things:

  • 1) It’s undergone an electrical malfunction which rendered it useless.
  • 2) The outlet you’re powering the appliance from isn’t working properly – move it to another outlet or try plugging in other electronics in the same outlet to see if the outlet works properly when other electronics are connected.
